SENIOR EXECUTIVE ADVISOR

Thomas K. Otte is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in the financial sector. He has extensive financial, operating and transaction experience.

Tom’s experience includes Managing Director of Dune Capital Management, a $2B+ family of funds. At Dune, he focuses on sourcing, negotiating and structuring complex asset-based investments in the transportation, energy, pharmaceutical and media sectors. He also manages a portfolio of stressed assets where he serves on steering committees and works with existing lenders and investors to restructure distressed companies.

Prior to joining DCM, he was a Managing Director and Business Leader for GE Commercial Finance where he worked from 1989 to 2005 and focused on launching and repositioning new and existing commercial lending businesses in the US and internationally.  In his last assignment, Mr. Otte was the Business Leader for GE’s US Factoring, Business Credit and Mexico operations, overseeing $2 Billion in assets and 500 employees. 

Prior to GE Capital, Mr. Otte spent 10 years at First Chicago in various Personal Banking and Commercial lending roles.
 
He focuses on working with lenders and senior management to financially and operationally restructure companies in crisis while rasing new capital through the private markets. 

Mr. Otte has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois in Urbana and an MBA from DePaul University of Chicago
